Words can not express how grateful Travis and I are to his Dad for buying us this crib!! We are so excited and can't wait for it to get here! We LOVE it! Thanks Dad!!!

Every year all of the girls in the family go to St. Nick's to pick out our yearly Christmas ornaments and of course we have to stop by See's because we are right there! Amanda you were sorely missed! We can not wait to see you next week!!!!!

31 Weeks!!

Alright....Here I am at 31 weeks, 1 week shy of 8 months along! Not too much longer! Emmett is no longer breach and his kidneys are back to normal! So that was a huge relief :) I have gained 31 lbs now, which is scary. But, I know it is best for my little guy!

Why I am measuring BIG....

So I have mixed feelings now. Everything seemed fine when I went to get the ultra sound done. The tech said he looked very healthy and the reason I am probably measuring big is because he is breech, which is completely normal. Then, I received a phone call from the doctor who was feeding me all this information about the results of the ultra sound. Ummmm.... Can you please speak English?? Has anyone ever had a doctor tell them something that only doctors would understand? He was giving me all this terminology that made absolutely no sense. I kept asking him what he meant and I still did not understand. So Trav & I had to do some research and have discovered that little Emmett has a little above normal dilation of his kidneys. My doctor told me it is very common in little boys and not to worry when he then proceeds to tell me they could obstruct & we will keep an eye on it! I have never heard of it, and neither have any of the women in my family. It makes me nervous. Have any of you heard of it?

Measuring BIG????

I went to the doctor today and Emmett's little heartbeat is great and he had some real strong kicks to show the doctor! However, I am not sure how to feel about this, but my baby is measuring BIG! So what exactly does that mean???? I have to go in for another ultra sound on Thursday to find out! Any of you mommas out there know? I asked him, and he said not to worry.....He said it could just be a lot of fluid or he is just a BIG baby boy. It could also mean I am further along then I thought! (crossing my fingers on that one!) Lately, I have been feeling a little uncomfortable due to that fact that I have no control over my blatter, I can feel him in my ribs, and I have a hard time breathing :) So I am really hoping that I am further along then I thought! Anyways, I will let ya know how the ultra sound goes on Thursday!
